Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, the initiator of the Sing-a-thon aiming to establish a new Guinness World Record, has reached the fourth day of her remarkable challenge.
Commencing on December 24, 2023, Afua set out on this marathon singing event with the objective of surpassing the current record of 105 hours held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmmare.
Determined to exclusively perform Ghanaian songs throughout the entire 117 hours, Afua Asantewaa committed not to repeat any songs until after the fourth-hour break. As she enters the 100th hour at midnight, she continues to sing with the aspiration of breaking the record on the 117th hour.
