Mercy Eke, a prominent participant in BBNaija Season 8 All-Stars edition, has offered her insights on the clash that unfolded between CeeC and fellow housemate Pere.
This dispute arose due to differences in their approach to house chores.
Traditionally, Pere and CeeC were responsible for cleaning the dining area each morning. However, on a particular morning, CeeC expressed a lack of interest and suggested that she would do it later.
This deviation from the routine left the other housemates displeased, with Adekunle notably expressing his dissatisfaction. He proposed that CeeC fulfill her responsibilities, questioning the outcome if everyone neglected their duties, which would lead to a messy living environment.
In response, Pere offered to take on the task alone, and the remaining housemates present decided not to escalate the matter further. They designated Ike to communicate the importance of adhering to the chore schedule.
Ike approached CeeC and conveyed the housemates’ concerns about her absence during the meeting. CeeC’s reaction was one of frustration, as she directed strong words toward both her fellow housemates and Pere.
CeeC defended herself by highlighting that Angel, Alex, and Mercy had also missed the meeting. She viewed the situation as unjust, believing it was unfair for her to be singled out.
Pere left the gathering to attend to his laundry, prompting another confrontation with CeeC.
During this subsequent argument, CeeC resorted to insults directed at Pere, his parents, and even his grandparents, labeling him as a coward.
A short while later, Mercy Eke, another housemate, expressed her viewpoint on the matter.
Mercy remarked, “There’s a tendency for them to avoid chores in order to create problems. They amplify these issues and create a toxic atmosphere. However, cultivating toxicity won’t lead to victory this season. Engaging in constant anger and fights won’t yield positive results in this All-Stars edition.”
