In a pointed message on Instagram, Nigerian social media personality Bobrisky schooled a media outlet for using the outdated term “crossdresser.”
Bobrisky, who has undergone gender reassignment surgery, clarified the difference between a crossdresser, a transgender person, and a trans woman.
He emphasized that due to the surgery, “crossdresser” is no longer the appropriate term. Instead, he prefers to be addressed as a trans woman.
