Param Sundari The song which translates to “Eternal beauty,” was written by A. R. Rahman for Mimi the movie. based on Mala Aai Vhhaychy, a Marathi movie! The movie, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Kriti Sanon, was Samruddhi Porey’s (2011). Amitabh Bhattacharya composed the song, which Shreya Ghoshal sang. On July 16, 2021, the soundtrack album and the song were both made available.
The song peaked at No. 184 on the Billboard Global Excl. chart. The music video for the song was released on the same day and had received more than 500 million views on YouTube as of January 25th, 2022. U.S. graph.
The song was filmed on a sizable set constructed at Mumbai’s Film City. It was originally scheduled to be shot in March–April 2020, but the COVID–19 epidemic ultimately caused a delay. The song was subsequently shot in January 2021. According to Utekar, who spoke with The Times of India, “the song was originally planned to be shot in Rajasthan, but traveling with a big crew and cast will not be feasible, especially during the pandemic restrictions.
The international cast of the film will be flying to Mumbai for the shoot as they are required for the continuity of the film. The song is important for the narrative.”
Kriti Sanon had three months of intense training to lose weight for the song after gaining 15 kg for the part of the surrogate mother. More than 600 dancers, Kriti, and Sai Tamhankar (who played Shama, Kriti’s friend in the movie), were all present when the song was being filmed. Ganesh Acharya created the choreography for the song.
