Maroon 5 aka M5 is out with the official music video for his previously released track titled “Memories”
The lead single from Maroon 5’s seventh studio album, Jordi, “Memories,” was made available on September 20, 2019, via 222 and Interscope Records.
The song honors the memories of a loved one who has since passed away in its lyrics. The production of the song was criticized by many music critics, while others praised it as “lovely.” According to Spin magazine, it was one of the worst songs of the year. The German composer Johann Pachelbel’s “Canon in D Major” provides the inspiration for “Memories.”
Adam Levine, the lead vocalist of Maroon 5, along with Stefan Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Michael Pollack, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Jon Bellion, and Vincent Ford, wrote the song. The song was created by Levine and the Monsters and the Strangerz. The song reached its highest point at number one on the worldwide music charts and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 list.
Since Mickey Madden announced his departure from the band in 2020 as a result of his arrest for domestic abuse, this is Maroon 5’s last song with him.
