“Angel” is a single by Jamaican reggae musician Shaggy that features Barbadian vocalist Rayvon on extra vocals. It was released to radio on 9 January 2001 as the follow-up to Shaggy’s worldwide number-one smash, “It Wasn’t Me,” and used samples from Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” and the Chip Taylor-written “Angel of the Morning.”
“Angel” was also a hit, topping the charts in 12 countries, including Australia, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
