A video circulating online captured the moment as Davido was performing one of his popular songs, and the crowd started chanting Wizkid’s name. This visibly irritated the DMW records founder, prompting him to address the attendees directly. Davido requested that they refrain from shouting Wizkid’s nickname, “Machala,” while he was on stage.
