Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, a prominent Nollywood actor and media personality, has offered advice to single individuals, urging them not to be swayed by the prevalent notion on social media that marriage is no longer successful.
During the latest episode of The Honest Bunch audiovisual podcast, which he co-hosts, Nedu emphasized that the institution of marriage still holds significant power and should not be undermined.
Nedu’s perspective on the topic emerged during a conversation with Teddy A, the podcast’s guest, who shared the story of his own love journey with his wife, Bam Bam.
In his statement, Nedu asserted, “I want to emphasize that marriage works. Don’t allow yourself to be deceived by what you see on social media. On social media, those whose marriages are struggling tend to have the loudest voices. The ones with successful marriages prefer to keep them private because preserving the sanctity of their relationship is their priority.”
It is worth noting that Nedu went through a divorce last year, citing allegations of infidelity and paternity fraud against his former spouse.
