Former lawmaker and social critic, Senator Shehu Sani, has made an allegation that he would have suffered a similar fate as Abubakar Dadiyata, who went missing under the administration of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle on Friday, Sani claimed that it was by the grace of God that his life was spared during El-Rufai’s tenure, which lasted from 2015 to 2023. He drew a parallel between his situation and that of Dadiyata, a journalist who was declared missing on August 2, 2019, after being abducted from his residence in Kaduna State. Dadiyata was known for his criticism of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
