Hilda Baci, the individual who recently gained widespread attention for achieving the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking session, has opened up about her previous experiences with homelessness.

During an exclusive interview with TVC on May 19th, the 26-year-old culinary expert, Hilda Baci, shared insights into her personal journey, aiming to dispel misconceptions about her seemingly rapid success.
Challenging the notion that her fame came effortlessly, Baci addressed the public’s perception of her meteoric rise and shed light on her past experiences with homelessness. She emphasized that many people witnessing her current buzz may assume she appeared out of nowhere, but they are unaware of the struggles she faced. Baci highlighted that her journey has been a process, and she emphasized that she is still on her path to success.

The chef further emphasized the significance of sharing stories of struggle and resilience, expressing her hope that her own journey would inspire others to pursue their dreams.
Baci stated, “Life isn’t always smooth sailing, and it’s not always easy. But we need more examples like this so that people can look at my story and say, ‘If Hilda did it, then I can do it too.'”
Since embarking on her remarkable culinary feat, Baci has garnered significant media attention. She began her 4-day cooking marathon challenge on May 11, 2023, at Amore Gardens in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
With unwavering determination, she tirelessly cooked for an astounding 100 hours, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes held by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
While awaiting official confirmation from the Guinness World Records, Hilda Baci has potentially set a new record for the longest individual cooking time, solidifying her remarkable achievement.
