A Nigerian man known as Asian Big Name has made a significant contribution towards the medical expenses of Nigerian actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu. He posted a receipt on his Facebook page indicating a transfer of ₦1.5 million to Mr. Ibu’s account.
This generous gesture comes in response to Mr. Ibu’s plea for financial assistance from his fans and well-wishers to cover his medical bills, as he recently made an appeal from his hospital bed.
Despite claims that notable individuals have already covered his medical expenses, there has been a lack of concrete evidence to substantiate these assertions.

Asian Big Name, through his Facebook post, announced that he had fulfilled his pledge to support the Nollywood legend, Mr. Ibu, by contributing ₦1.5 million towards his medical treatment.
“Our dear Mr. Ibu, nothing will happen to you. The joy and happiness you have brought us from my childhood to this day, you continue to put a smile on our faces.”
“We believe that the gods of our ancestors will protect you. Regardless of whether your health issues are caused by a man, a woman, or any human being, one thing is certain: you will emerge stronger and live to enjoy the fruits of your labor.”
“You shall put all your enemies to shame, and anyone responsible for your illness shall face consequences.”
“Once again, I, the CEO of ASIABIGNAME and our group, wish you a speedy recovery. We stand by your side, dear father.”
