I was the one who encourage Chadwick Boseman to marry his wife – Denzel Washington

Denzel is an American movie star, producer, director and actor who is most famous for his movie “The equalizer”. He happens to be the executive producer of the last movie  “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” the black movie hero Chadwick Boseman popularly called “Black Panther” shot before he died of cancer in 2020.

In a recent interview, Denzel Washington revealed that he was the one who actually encouraged him to marry his wife. she was his girlfriend then.

Denzel Washington said: “Certain members of his team knew. His wife was there. They weren’t even married yet,” he added. “And I used to watch how she took care of him, and I actually said to him, I said, ‘Man, you know, you need to put a ring on that finger’ ’cause she kept her eye on him, and she watched him. And I’m like, man, she loves that guy.”

Few months ago, we lost the black movie hero to cancer which nobody knew he had till he died. He was still very much active and did well in his movies before he died.

Speaking on his illness, Denzel Washington said: “It’s fascinating that nobody knew. Well, credit to him. He kept it to himself. It was nobody’s business. He was there to deliver, and he delivered.”

His most anticipated movie “Black Panther 2” is set to hit the studios in 2022.
