Davido recently claimed that he and Wizkid were the first young Nigerian artists to attain fame. He also mentioned his excitement about the success of new stars like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, and Asake in the music industry.
In response, Young6ix shared a video message on social media where he addressed Davido directly. He reminded Davido that himself, Olamide, and Wizkid had achieved fame before Davido entered the scene. Young6ix expressed his love and respect for Davido but emphasized that they were the young artists making waves during that time.
He questioned Davido’s decision to exclude him from the legacy and expressed his disappointment.
