During the solemn 8-day Fidau Prayer ceremony held in honor of Murphy on Monday, shocking revelations emerged from the burial committee. They claimed that Adunni borrowed the money from the deceased for a movie production before his untimely passing. The committee passionately appealed to the actress to fulfill her financial obligation by promptly returning the borrowed funds.
In a separate development, fellow Yoruba actor, Ifeoluwa Gbadegeshin, widely known as Mr Fresh, shed light on the true circumstances surrounding Murphy Afolabi’s demise, dispelling earlier speculations. Contrary to popular belief that Afolabi had suffered a fatal head injury in his bathroom, Gbadegeshin revealed a different narrative.
Speaking during the emotional funeral proceedings, Gbadegeshin revealed that Murphy had been recuperating from an illness.
