Offensive Video: Davido’s manager apologise to Muslim community

Israel Afeare, widely known as Israel DMW, who works as Davido’s Logistics Manager and is also a socialite, has issued an apology to the Muslim community regarding a controversial video shared on social media by the singer.

The video in question featured Davido’s signee, Logos Olori, and showed individuals praying in the Islamic manner while also dancing. This sparked heavy criticism directed at Davido for sharing the video.

In response to the backlash, Davido removed the controversial video from his social media platforms. However, the Muslim community continued to demand a public apology from Davido.

Taking responsibility on behalf of his boss, Israel DMW posted an apology on his Instagram story. He explained that the video was meant to be purely for entertainment purposes but was unfortunately presented in the wrong manner. He also expressed regret for any offense caused.

Israel’s message conveyed his sincere apologies to his Muslim brothers and sisters, and he emphasized that Davido’s intention was merely to uplift someone, as it is one of his supportive gestures. He urged everyone not to be upset and reiterated his love for all members of the Muslim community.
