Nigerian Grammy award winning artists, Tems and Burna Boy, always putting Nigeria and whole of Africa on the winning streak and making us proud, at the top of it, they are now listed on Barack Obama’s summer playlist for 2022.
The former United States president unveils his summer playlist for the year, and annually Nigerians have been listed. In 2020 we have Wizkid on it with his lead single ‘Smile’ and Rema been in the list with his track ‘Iron Man’ in 2019. Well, we are not excluded this 2022 either, as Burna Boy and Tems has shown up on the list which was published on 26th July 2022.
On his verified Twitter page, Obama revealed the list which features Tems’ “Vibe Out” as Well as Burna Boy’s “Last Last” amongst a list of other songs.
Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together.
