Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken a swipe at his colleague, Yul Edochie, following Yul’s public criticism of his first wife, May Edochie.
Yul Edochie recently took to social media to call out his wife, May, and demanded reimbursement for the bride price he paid when they got married. Reacting to this, Uche Maduagwu criticized Yul for allegedly not grasping Igbo culture and suggested that Yul’s quickness to share such personal matters on social media showcased his lack of understanding.
Furthermore, Uche Maduagwu claimed that Yul Edochie was confused about his spirituality. He also questioned Yul’s concern about May Edochie dropping his last name before the divorce process was finalized.
He stated that a woman is under no legal requirement to give up her ex-husband’s last name, even if she was instrumental in his success.
