Nigerian singer Davido recently took an unexpected and heartwarming step by surprising one of his fans at her sister’s wedding event. The artist went on to perform one of his hit songs, ‘Unavailable,’ at the celebration.
Several videos capturing the moment gained attention on social media, depicting Davido passionately singing at the event while being protected by his bodyguard.
The surprise appearance and performance added a special touch to the wedding celebration and created a memorable experience for the fan and everyone present.
Expressing how Davido arrived at the event, the woman, whose sister received the surprise performance, wrote on her social media page: “My sister’s wedding! He came straight from the airport to surprise her and her husband! Thank you @davido for honoring us last night!! May God continue to bless you always!!”
She further detailed how she approached Davido about attending the event: “When I told @davido my sister was getting married and asked if he would surprise her and her husband, he said consider it done and asked for the date.”
“He mentioned he’d be in Dubai but committed to flying in straight from the airport, and indeed he did!”
“He consistently followed up to confirm the date and reassured me he would be there without any prompting. He said, ‘#TheHat, don’t worry, I got you.”
