Erhiga Agarivbie, better known by his stage name Erigga (born 30 March 1987), is a Nigerian singer and rapper.

Early life and Education
Erriga Agarivbie, better known by his stage name Erigga, was born and raised in Warri, Warri, Delta State. He is the oldest of five siblings.
He received his first school leaving certificate and West Africa Senior School Certificate at Standard International School, where he attended both primary and secondary school.
Although nothing is known about his higher education, it is known that he completed high school before enrolling in a music degree program.
Erriga’s Early Career
While growing up, Erigga never envisioned himself as a rapper or a musician. Erigga desired to become a basketball player, and he participated in the Milo Basketball Championship and played for the Delta State Basketball Team while at school.
Music Career
After completing his formal education, he began to listen to rap music and quickly fell in love with it. He was heavily influenced by Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Nas, and other prominent rappers.
Erigga began composing music and improving his rapping skills after gaining inspiration from this group of prominent rappers.
Prior to his first studio appearance and the release of his debut song in 2002, Erigga rapped in English.
After understanding that Nigerian music fans rap better in pidgin than in English, he resumed rapping in pigin.
In 2010, Erigga launched his professional music career. He has collaborated with other producers, including PFizzy, Snowman, and Phizy Joe.
“Mo Street Gan” was the first musical release by Erigga. The music video for the song was directed by AKIN Alabi in Nigeria. The song was adopted as Radio Continental’s theme.
Erigga released “Coupé Décalé ft. Shuun Bebe” in 2013. Nigerian television stations promoted the music video for the song. Early in 2014, he released a second single, “Love No Be Garri,” which featured Jimoh Waxiu.
Erigga released his album A Trip To The South on July 17, 2017, featuring Orezi, Skales, Duncan Mighty, and many others.
In 2018, Erigga released “Motivation” featuring Victor AD as another blockbuster tune. This song has almost one million YouTube views.
