Kizz Daniel, Early Life
Kizz Daniel was born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is from the local government area of Abeokuta North.
He attended Abeokuta Grammar School and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (Water Engineering).
During his undergraduate studies, he decided to pursue a career in music.
Career
In May 2015, Kizz Daniel released his third follow-up single, “Laye,” on his birthday. Two weeks later, AJE FILMS directed a music video for “Laye ” that was shot in various locations in eastern Africa.
On May 14, 2016, Daniel released his debut studio album, New Era.
After leaving his previous company, G-WorldWide, he established his own label, FLYBOY I.N.C., which just signed two new artists, Demmie Vee and Philkeyz.
Then, Kizz Daniel was featured on the “You Go Wait?” track by Demmie Vee. The year 2018 was certainly a wonderful one for the WOJU singer, as he collaborated with Wizkid on the smash song “FOR YOU” and Davido on “One Ticket,” which reached the charts within 24 hours of its release.
On December 30, 2018, Kizz Daniel released “No Bad Songz,” his second studio album and first under FlyBoy Inc.
The album includes twenty songs, including the previously released One Ticket, on which he collaborated with Davido. Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, DJ Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, and Sarkodie were among the other artists featured on the album.
Within twenty-four hours of its release, the album began at No. 55 on the U.S. iTunes Chart and climbed to No. 1 on the global Album Chart. He released his third studio album, King of Love, on June 25, 2020.
As he uploaded comedy routines in 2017, many of his admirers believed he would transition into comedy. However, he stated that he has no plans to transition to comedy, as music is his primary ability.

Dispute with record label and name change
In November of 2017, Kizz Daniel announced his separation from his record company, G-Worldwide, and the formation of his own label, FLYBOY I.N.C.
The old record label sued him in court, but he was found not guilty of any of the offenses he was accused of.
Kizz Daniel revealed in May 2018 that he had changed his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel, which was mirrored immediately on his social media profiles.
New Spotify and Apple Music accounts with the name Kizz Daniel and his new tracks were also created immediately.
In a press release released to media outlets in June 2018, Kizz Daniel’s old record company, G-Worldwide, claimed ownership of the moniker “Kizz Daniel” and warned the singer to stop using it or face legal penalties.
In October of 2018, Daniel’s attorney reacted to the lawsuit and statement made by his former record label, G-Worldwide.
