Portable Omolalomi was born in the ancient city of Abeokuta on March 12, 1994. One week after he was born, he was given the name Habeeb Okikiola.
Born in Ogun State in southwest Nigeria to Mr. and Mrs. Okikiola, a Yoruba family, he is a native of the region.
Portable Omolalomi and his siblings were nurtured in Abeokuta city by their parents, who, like his father and mother, were Muslim.
Growing up in Abeokuta meant that Portable Omolalomi was proficient in the Yoruba language from a young age, since it was the language he used to converse with his parents, classmates, neighbors, and extended family.
During elementary school, he was influenced by Dr Dre, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., and Snoop Dogg rap tracks that he listened to on his father’s audio cassette player.
He started creating rap songs anytime he felt inclined to do so after admiring these musicians.
However, with the advent of indigenous rap singers such as Lord Of Ajasa, Dagrin, Danny Young, Olamide, QDot, and CDQ, he chose to transition to Yoruba rap and was inspired to pursue a career in music.
Growing up, Omolalomi did not pass up the opportunity to obtain a solid education.
His parents enrolled him in the best public elementary and high institutions in Abeokuta for his elementary and secondary schooling.
However, he chose vocational study at a training center rather than continuing his education at the university.
Portable Omolalomi decided to shift his domicile to Lagos State, the music capital of Africa, because he believed he would have a greater chance of excelling in the industry if he was in its center.
While in Lagos, Portable Omolalomi sought out producers to collaborate with, as he created new rap songs frequently.
To pay his bills, he maintained a 9-to-5 position as an artisan on the mainland of Lagos.
Despite having recorded a few songs that performed poorly commercially, Portable Omolalomi remained committed to achieving his goal of becoming an A-list musician in the music industry.
Recently, he was fortunate to have an accidental encounter with his musical idol, Olamide.
It was an emotional moment for Portable, who wept uncontrollably while kneeling and clinging to Olamide’s legs.
Fortunately for Portable Omolalomi, Olamide saw his talent and recruited him for a continuing collaboration with the dancer and music artist Poco Lee.
The initiative gave birth to the song by Zazuu Zeh, which became an instant hit.
The song, which has gone viral due to its catchy lyrics and the word Zazuu Zeh, has thrust Portable into the spotlight.
Since the song made Portable Omolalomi popular, he has had numerous requests for collaboration from industry leaders.
Despite the fact that he has yet to reveal her identity to the public, he is in a committed relationship with a lovely young woman named Opeyemi.
The portable Omolalomi has two sons from two separate women. He is unmarried and without a wife.
He occasionally travels to Ogun State to see his parents and siblings.
Due to Omolalomi’s popularity as a musician, he is frequently invited to perform in music shows and concerts throughout the country.
Additionally, he receives royalties when his works are streamed or downloaded online.
His estimated net worth ranges between $2,000 and $30,000.
