Romeo Tan, a native Singaporean, was born on April 9, 1985, and he has since established himself as a successful actor and TV host. Early Life And Education
On April 9, 1985, in Singapore, Romeo Tan entered the world. He is the youngest of three children born to Michael Tan, a businessman, and Lee-Leng Tan, a full-time homemaker. Rowell Tan and Robin Tan are his brothers. He went to Rosyth Primary School after growing up in an H.D.B. flat in Ang Mo Kio. Romeo Tan went to secondary school at Hwa Chong Institution and junior college at National Junior College.
After Romeo Tan finished with community college, he enrolled at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore, where he studied business administration with a marketing concentration. In 2007, he completed college successfully.

In 2005, during the show’s fourth season, Romeo Tan made his television debut. After filming The Best Things in Life, Tan auditioned for the tenth season of the talent show Star Search. After trying out for a TV show, he was selected as one of the top 20 contestants for the season and advanced to the quarterfinals. He made it to the final round of competition after finishing in the top three in the quarterfinal round.
Romeo Tan finished in third place after losing to the eventual champion, Jeffrey Xu. He was handed a two-year contract by MediaCorp, along with Jeffrey Xu, Adeline Lim, Sora Ma, James Seah, and Darryl Yong. Romeo Tan, before any of the other Star Search finalists, was cast as a supporting character in the 2012 season of the critically acclaimed international police procedural series C.L.I.F. He was up for Best Newcomer at the 2012 Star Awards, but Kate Pang ultimately won the award for her work in the same category.
