Laura Ikeji has criticized the producers of the reality show “Real Housewives of Lagos” (RHOL) for including Dr. Rommel in the cast. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the casting decisions and called for a reconsideration.
Laura Ikeji specifically mentioned her disapproval of Dr. Rommel, who is known for being gay and transgender. She suggested that if a gay man were to be cast in the female-led series, the producers should look for someone genuinely outstanding.
This follows claims of dishonesty against Dr. Rommel on the show, notably in conflicts with another cast member, Morey Faith. Viewers have also accused Dr. Rommel of promoting competition among the cast members.
“Next time u gonna bring a gay man to join a show with ladies, pls bring those amazing ones. The Igbta community has so many pure souls.
Rommel is a waste of screen time and an embarrassment to that community” She wrote.
