The family of Olusegun Abayomi Areo, a 47-year-old bricklayer, has expressed their ongoing search for their missing relative. According to a family member named Oluwole Areo, Olusegun was last seen in June 2022 in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Olusegun, who worked as a bricklayer and also engaged in commercial motorcycling for additional income, disappeared while at work. Oluwole Areo, the younger brother of the missing man, revealed that Olusegun was last seen at the front of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, where he had gone for business that day. However, he never returned or made contact with the family again.
The matter was reported to the police, but all attempts to locate Olusegun have been unsuccessful. Despite the challenges, the family remains hopeful and determined to find their missing kinsman. They have been actively searching for him since last year.
Olusegun Areo is the eldest child of his mother, while Oluwole Areo is the third child.
