According to a press statement by the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, Mohbad’s childhood friend, Primeboy, had a violent fight with the singer at his show in Ikorodu on September 10th, 2023.
The fight resulted in an injury that led to Mohbad’s death. Sam Larry was accused of bullying and assault, while Naira Marley, the late singer’s boss, is also held in custody as a suspect.
