A former classmate of Nigerian singer Shallipopi has disclosed that when the artist gained fame in the industry, he deleted their phone numbers due to their persistent attempts to reach out to him.
This revelation came during an interview with content creator @okaswiss at an event in Shallipopi’s home state of Benin. The ex-coursemate, who attended Auchi Polytechnic, asserted that during their time in school, the musician was known as a prominent figure and rarely attended classes until exams.
When asked whether he still had his number, he answered in the negative as the singer blocked majority of them.
