Reality TV star Tacha has taken issue with Davido, asserting that the singer’s apology to Phyna was insincere and only served to expose her to online criticism.
Previously, BBNaija star Phyna had criticized Davido for liking a tweet that was against her. In response, Davido claimed it was an honest mistake and professed not to know who she was, leading to online controversy and criticism from other BBNaija alumni.
Tacha showed her support for Phyna by assuring her that even if Davido doesn’t know her, there are many others who do.
In a recent video, Tacha expressed her belief that Davido’s apology was not genuine and had the unintended consequence of subjecting Phyna to further online harassment.
She emphasized how quickly online trolls can target individuals and referenced the situation with comedian AY, whose joke was blown out of proportion, but he apologized despite his status as a prominent comedian. Tacha’s comments underscore the need for sensitivity in handling online interactions and the potential consequences of insincere apologies.
According to Tacha, if Davido had wanted to apologize he would have done it properly or better still, not say anything at all.
