A music critic has strongly advised the acclaimed Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid, to consider stepping away from music while he still holds his honor. This recommendation comes shortly after the release of Wizkid’s new EP, S2.
The Grammy-winning artist took to the microblogging platform to announce the launch of his EP, featuring four tracks and collaborations with Zlatan Ibile and Wande Coal on two of them.
However, within hours of the EP’s release, music critics around the world have offered their opinions. While some praised Wizkid for maintaining his musical prowess, others criticized the release, deeming it another disappointment or “flop.”
A user identified as @DhreyFccb poured out his mind about the new S2 EP; terming it as a wack piece. He further urged Wizkid to quit music rather than force his songs on listeners.
“Dear Wizkid, this is a friendly advice from a concerned citizen, your music is wack, I think you should stop forcing it on us, just quit and start a full time job as a banger boy. Love, Dhrey,” he wrote.
