In a recent interview, Nigerian singer Teni talked about her interactions with fellow musician Davido Adeleke.
Even though they are agemates, the journalist questioned her if she was insulted when Davido called her in public his “younger sister” during the conversation.
Teni responded to this by stating that she was never insulted and then went on to describe how the singer had startled her while filming.
The singer stayed with her and made sure he completed everything they asked of him, even though he had another appointment during the filming.
In her words:
“Younger sister and so? Why does my driver that senior me call me madam? Do you know what Davido did? I have a witness. He had a meeting but he stayed at that shoot. He made me blow. Davido stayed, did everything we wanted him to do. I’m an artist myself. If I have a meeting, I will leave.”
