The controversial singer Portable claims he needs to perform because the Celestial Church paid him an astounding N5 million.
The controversial Nigerian musician Portable didn’t hold back when talking about his unannounced expulsion from a Celestial Church function.
Social media was recently enraged by his removal from the Land of Goshen Cathedral’s Ankara praise night lineup, along with Pasuma and other artists booked for the event.
In a swift response, Portable addressed the problem on social media in a video that became popular very soon. The Zazu crooner held his own in the video, announcing that he would be performing for the congregation.
In the video, Portable stated that the church gave him N5 million, underscoring his duty to deliver. The audacious vocalist declared that he and Pasuma would proceed with their performance since they were children of God.
The musician didn’t stop there; he humbly pleaded with the Celestial Church to allow him to perform in God’s name. He emphasized that the clergy shouldn’t decide to dismiss him because of his appearance.
To quote him:
“Cele we must do the show o, you have paid me N5 million and we must do it. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.
“This child of God is coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God, don’t use my looks to judge me.”
