Bella Shmurda, the sensational singer, has disclosed that the recording and video shoot of his breakthrough single ‘Vision 2020‘ were funded by Olamide, the boss of YBNL record label. In a recent interview with Pulse, Bella Shmurda shared the roles played by Olamide, Poco Lee, and Zlatan Ibile in the early days of his career.
According to Bella Shmurda, Poco Lee, who was living with Zlatan on the Island, pleaded with the rapper to accommodate him, and Zlatan agreed. During his time with Zlatan, the rapper provided encouragement and collaborated with Bella Shmurda on several unreleased songs.
Bella Shmurda expressed his gratitude to Olamide, Poco Lee, and Zlatan Ibile for their support during his humble beginnings, stating that their contributions helped shape him into the artist he is today. He acknowledged Olamide’s financial support for reproducing ‘Vision 2020‘ and funding the music video, as well as Poco Lee and Zlatan’s mentorship and motivation in the studio.
