Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has taken a stand against those who engaged in trolling Chef Dammy after Irish chef Alan Fisher surpassed Hilda Baci’s record.
Guinness World Records announced on their official Twitter page that Alan Fisher had cooked for an astounding 119 hours and 57 minutes in his restaurant in Japan, surpassing Hilda’s previous record of 93 hours and 11 minutes. Not only did he break her record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, but he also set a new record for the longest baking marathon by an individual.
In response to this achievement, the actress recalled the time when Chef Dammy faced bullying for attempting to dethrone Hilda Baci for the longest cooking marathon record. She pointed out that if everyone had supported and encouraged Dammy, the record might have remained in the country.
Etinosa urged those who engaged in bullying to redirect their actions towards the new record holder instead.
She stated that if everyone had supported and encouraged Dammy, the record would have probably remained in the country.
Etinosa urged the ‘bullies’ to go and bully the new record holder.
In her words: “You guys were bullying the innocent Dammy for attempting to break the record as if it was Hida’s birthright. You see, if we had encouraged Dammy who knows, we would still have retained it as a nation. Oya go and bully this guy na. Abi na only poor people pikin una dey bully. Wazagha.”
