Toyin Abraham was born on September 5, 1982, in Auchi, Edo State, but she grew up in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, in southwestern Nigeria.
She earned her Pre-National Diploma and Ordinary National Diploma from Osun State Polytechnic Iree between 1999 and 2002.

Early Life And Education
Toyin Abraham was born in the village of Auchi, located in the southern Nigerian state of Edo. She was born in southwestern Nigeria, although she spent her formative years in the state capital of Ibadan, Oyo. For high school, she enrolled at St’Anne’s School, Ibadan.
From 2005–2007, she attended Osun State Polytechnic in Iree, where she earned both her pre-national and regular national diplomas. She was awarded a higher national diploma in marketing after attending Ibadan Polytechnic.
Career
She began her career as an editor, Abraham first got into acting in 2003, when a film starring Nigerian actress Bukky Wright was being shot in Ibadan. Among Abraham’s cinematic credits are Alani Baba Labake and Ebimi ni, both of which he also directed.
Toyin Abraham was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Yoruba Film for her work in Ebimi ni at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards, where she shared the spotlight with Joke Muyiwa, who was up for Best Lead Actress in a Yoruba Film for her work in Ayitale.
Black Velvet featured Abraham as well. She has a reality show called “Keeping Up With Toyin Aimakhu,” and it was produced and is handled by Martini Animashaun, CEO of Tinimash Entertainment. In 2020, Abraham started working for Revolution Plus Properties, a real estate company based in Lagos, Nigeria.
In February of 2022, Abraham was also named the face of Checkers Custard in Nigeria.
The popular Nollywood film, Fate of Alakada, was directed by Abraham, and it is just one of many of his films that have been released.
Personal Life
Adeniyi Johnson, an actor in Nigerian films, and Abraham tied the knot in 2013. This divorce took place in 2019. After a traditional engagement in July 2019, she and Kolawole Ajeyemi, who is also an actor, welcomed their first child in August of the same year.
In 2016, she transitioned from using the name Toyin Aimakhu to that of Toyin Abraham. Her family apparently decided to make the switch.
