Controversial Nigerian musician Naira Marley has been placed in police custody in connection with the passing of his former signee, Mohbad, who was associated with Marlian Music.
It is worth noting that Mohbad passed away on September 12, and the circumstances surrounding his death had been a subject of controversy and speculation.
Many individuals had raised questions about the cause of Mohbad’s death, and some had linked Naira Marley and Sam Larry to the tragedy.
Naira Marley, who had been abroad at the time, denied any involvement or responsibility in Mohbad’s passing.
However, on October 3rd, he revealed that he had returned to Nigeria to cooperate with the police in resolving the issues surrounding Mohbad’s death.
According to the Lagos State Police Command PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Naira Marley has now been taken into custody for questioning in connection with his suspected involvement in the matter.
