Baci, while demonstrating her cooking skills to raise funds for a widow, spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. The event was organized by The Duke of Somolu Productions, a theatrical play production company, to support and empower widows. Baci expressed her passion for assisting widows and emphasized the importance of providing them with employment, encouragement, empowerment, and business growth opportunities.
She highlighted the need to show love, kindness, and remind widows that they can move forward and achieve great things. Baci also commented on the positive development of young Nigerians following in her footsteps and attempting to break records. She welcomed the competition, stating that her successful efforts had inspired others to start businesses and strive for greatness.
Baci expressed no ill feelings towards those attempting to break her records and encouraged them to pursue their goals. Joseph Edgar, CEO of The Duke of Somolu Productions, praised Baci’s goodwill, clean image, and love for widows, and mentioned that the initiative had raised over N10 million for deserving widows. Abosede Oladunjoye, a widow who recently benefited from the initiative, expressed her surprise and gratitude, vowing to utilize the funds judiciously. Her son, Ayo Oladunjoye, appreciated the support and the initiative’s assistance to widows in need.
