Renowned video director, cinematographer, and filmmaker Terkimbi Ggbaden Omori Jesam Smith, also known as TG Omori, has revealed that he does not personally own a recording camera.
TG Omori shared this revelation during an interview on the ‘Zero Conditions Podcast.’ Despite his influential role in the industry, he admitted to not having his own camera and disclosed that he solely owns a desktop computer which he uses for video editing.
This respected video director has collaborated extensively with top music icons and entertainers to bring their creative visions to life.
TG Omori recounted his journey into video creation, explaining that he relies on production studios that provide him access to the necessary equipment for shooting. He stated, “Till now, I don’t own a camera. I only own a computer I use to edit videos in my office.”
He further elaborated on his background, sharing that he initially aimed to study film production but was unable to afford a laptop at the time. As a result, he pursued acting, as it only required his presence on set. He expressed, “I wanted to study film production, but they could not even afford to buy me a laptop, so I went for performing act because all you need is just to be present on stage. So it was in school that I discovered that there is a career called music video director, and you don’t even need to have anything, you can actually rent.”
TG Omori’s journey highlights the resilience and adaptability that led him to his current successful career as a video director, despite not owning his own camera equipment.
