Just two months after Hilda Baci secured her place in the Guinness World Records as the individual with the longest cooking time, a Kenyan chef has now emerged to challenge that achievement.
Chef Maliha Mohammed embarked on her culinary marathon on August 11, cooking continuously for an unofficial record-breaking span of 95 hours. She celebrated the accomplishment by sharing her gratitude for the support from “@seagasltd” on social media.
However, despite her impressive feat, the Guinness World Records has yet to officially acknowledge her new record. This development follows closely after the recognition of celebrity chef Hilda Baci, who successfully overtook Indian Chef Lata Tondon to become the verified record holder for the longest cooking marathon

.Following a comprehensive review of the evidence, Guinness World Records authenticated Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, as the individual who shattered the record for the longest cooking marathon. Remarkably, she accomplished this feat with an astounding time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
The 26-year-old Nigerian chef commenced her culinary journey on Thursday, May 11, and exhibited unwavering determination until Monday, May 15. Throughout her impressive four-day endeavor, she managed to prepare more than 100 pots of food. Hilda’s initial goal was to establish a record of 100 hours; however, an adjustment was made to her final total, deducting nearly seven hours due to an inadvertent error of exceeding her allocated rest breaks early in the attempt.
