Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season 6 winner, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has expressed his support for Mercy Eke, a former contestant on the reality show, as she competes for a potential second victory in the almost concluded All-Star edition.
Even though Mercy has already emerged as the winner of season four, titled “Pepper Dem,” Whitemoney is endorsing her for another win.
Whitemoney passionately defended Mercy’s right to compete for the All-Star edition winner’s title in a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels.
He asserted that she shouldn’t be denied the opportunity to win again simply because she had won a previous season. Using a sports analogy, Whitemoney emphasized, “If you play a championship cup and win, would you go home the next season and say you don’t want to play again? No! You have to keep winning.”
He argued that Mercy’s pursuit of a second victory was not only valid but would also enhance her profile, reputation, and the brand she is working hard to establish.
In Whitemoney’s words;
“If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again? No! You have to keep winning.
“Mercy does deserve to win. If she wins it, that’s good for her profile. It’s good for her prestige. It’s good for whatever she is trying to build. “So, if she wins it again that would be very nice. No cap.”
