Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as CeeC from Big Brother Naija All Stars, has a refreshingly honest approach when it comes to expressing her feelings for men. Unlike societal norms that dictate men should pursue women, she believes in taking the initiative herself. CeeC revealed in a conversation with Tolanibaj, Ike, and Adekunle that she doesn’t hesitate to approach a man she finds likable.
She stated that if she develops an interest in a guy, she is straightforward about it and doesn’t hide her feelings. However, she clarified that expressing her liking for someone doesn’t mean she will actively chase after them. Rather, she prefers to be upfront and genuine with her emotions.
Tolanibaj was surprised at this bold approach and sang, “Never will I… Never will I,” but CeeC confidently confirmed that she indeed would approach a guy and express her feelings without reservation.
CeeC also shared a past experience where she expressed her liking for a man, only to discover later that he was married. In that situation, her feelings for him immediately faded away, showing her respect for boundaries.
Both Ike and CeeC agreed that men tend to be more drawn to women who show clear interest in them, rather than those who play hard to get. They emphasized that men prefer a woman who likes them and is open about it, rather than someone they like but who gives them a hard time.
CeeC firmly believes that there shouldn’t be a double standard when it comes to expressing romantic interest. If men can tell women that they like them, women should feel empowered to do the same without worrying about societal expectations. She stands by her authentic approach, not caring about conforming to societal standards.
