Woss Wobi CDQ decided to give back to the community with his new project labelled CDQ Education Empowerment Initiative (CEEi) which takes place in Kwara state.
The programme kicked off with a trip to Ilorin, Kwara State where he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin’s palace. The aim of this was to inform the Emir of his plans for secondary schools in the state.
On the next day, The Shiga crooner CDQ proceeded to his alma mater Government Secondary School Ilorin “GSS” where he graduated several years ago. CDQ was well received as students of the school could not control their excitement over his visit. He and his team shared writing materials which consisted of books, pens and wall clocks intended for several students.
As stated by his publicist, the initiative’s aim is to distribute writing materials to all secondary schools in the state. This is perceived as a major problem as most students are unable to afford writing materials required for their stay in school. He also encouraged the students to stay in school in order to be better leaders of tomorrow.
