A leaked conversation has sparked significant online attention as one of the individuals seen with Mohbad’s body inside a car has spoken up about the incident.
In a discussion with the well-known Nigerian blogger, Gistlovers‘, he categorically refuted allegations of evading police questioning and traveling abroad, asserting that he has fully cooperated with law enforcement.
In his own words: “Yes, I am Mohbad’s younger brother, along with his wife, another individual, and the older brother who was driving the car. We all went to the State CID on the 20th for the investigation and provided statements. So, I’m not sure why that individual, known as ‘verydarkman,’ continues to implicate me in something he wasn’t even present for. Please, let’s not engage in baseless clout-chasing and character defamation. Those who are doing so don’t even know me, and I am not Sanusi.”
“I haven’t traveled anywhere; I’m at home. They are trying to tarnish my reputation and even impact my football career by spreading false information. I only know Mohbad and his family.”

@fredmonie responded: “Kemi’s case is a separate matter altogether. ‘Very dark black man’ said what he did in the interest of transparency and clarity in the investigation. The goal is to question everyone associated with Mohbad until the responsible parties are identified. It’s unclear why Oba always feels threatened by those who hold different viewpoints. Stop attacking and trolling people just because they are asking different questions. This is unhealthy. We all seek justice, and your questions are not the only valid ones. People have their opinions too, and gathering these opinions will ensure a thorough investigation. Please, don’t let sentiment cloud your judgment.”
@kingfadekemi added: “What does this ‘very dark’ individual think he is? This insolent person has been acting out. You’d be surprised by the outcome, why? Who do you think you are? What is all this about? The audacity! As for Kemi Oluloyan, when will you change your ways? Have you run out of medication again? The same you who claimed Ifeanyi wasn’t really a boy. Kemi, are you doing this for attention, or are you genuinely mentally unstable? We will all face judgment one day, and God will evaluate us based on our actions. Check yourself, Auntie Kemi. All we want is justice. Don’t come and start confusing us because Naira once gave you money (isn’t that why you used to call yourself ‘iya naira’). Auntie Kemi, may God judge your actions!”
