Ruger, a fast-rising Afrobeats singer, recently shared in an interview with Beat FM how Davido Adeleke, a senior colleague, played a significant role in supporting his career even before he became a household name.
Ruger revealed that he met Davido in 2020, before his rapid ascent to fame in 2021. According to Ruger, Davido has been providing substantial support for him for an extended period, including efforts to raise awareness about his music.
In his words, “Davido is someone that has been supporting me right from the beginning of my career even before I came out in 2021. He heard some of my songs and liked them.
He has been creating awareness for my song even before I released my first song.” Burna Boy has also supported him in his way at O2 2021 .
