Renowned Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke, has expressed his admiration for the remarkable rags-to-riches journey of BBNaija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya.
Ilebaye, a 22-year-old model from Kogi, achieved a significant milestone by emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition, securing the N120 million grand prize. Her victory came as a surprise to many, given that she had been evicted after just three weeks during her initial season, “Level Up,” in 2022. In the All-Stars season, she was seen as an underdog.
In celebration of this self-proclaimed “Gen Z Baddie,” Davido took to his social media platform and shared his thoughts, stating, “Ilebaye… I love a success story!” Ilebaye, appreciative of Davido’s recognition, responded in the comments section with a simple “Thank you OBO.”
It is worth noting that, at the beginning of the show, Davido had initially supported Kiddwaya and Neo Energy as potential winners of the grand prize, although neither of them made it to the finals.
