Popular activist VeryDarkman has shared details of his encounter with Davido in Lagos, where the singer tried to gift him money and pay for his apartment for a year, but VeryDarkman declined.
After meeting with Davido in Lagos, VeryDarkman had caused a buzz on social media. He explained the events that unfolded, mentioning that Davido paid for his apartment for a day and offered to cover the expenses for an entire year, which he turned down.
According to VeryDarkman, after spending one day in the room that Davido had booked, he moved to a cheaper room downstairs. The following day, he moved out and stayed with Seun Kuti.
VeryDarkman further revealed that Israel DMW, a member of Davido’s crew, contacted him and informed him that Davido wanted to “do him well” by sending him some money, but he also declined this offer.
