Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has denied reports that actor Don Brymo collapsed and died on a movie set.
The actor passed away on Thursday, and there were rumors that he had collapsed on set the day before and subsequently died in a hospital in Anambra State.
In response to these reports, Rollas released a statement on his official Instagram page, refuting the viral claims and expressing the guild’s mourning over Brymo’s sudden death.
Rollas extended condolences to the actor’s family and mentioned that the AGN has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing. He clarified that after speaking with actors present on set, it was determined that Brymo did not collapse during filming as widely speculated.
Rollas concluded by expressing sadness over the tragic loss and emphasizing the need for urgent intervention in situations like this to potentially prevent such deaths.
