Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu has taken issue with veteran actor Pete Edochie’s recent comments regarding divorced actresses. In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Pete Edochie expressed his concerns about the rising number of actresses who have experienced divorces, mentioning names such as Chioma Chukwuka, Tonto Dikeh, and Ireti Doyle.
Uche Maduagwu has strongly criticized Pete Edochie for his remarks and advised him to focus on addressing the marital issues of his own son, Yul Edochie, who is currently facing challenges in his marriage. Uche Maduagwu expressed his disapproval of Pete Edochie’s choice to discuss other people’s problems while seemingly ignoring the difficulties within his own family.
Sharing a video in which he criticizes Pete Edochie, Uche Maduagwu’s caption reads: “Instead of addressing your son’s disgraceful actions in his marriage, you are more focused on these accomplished actresses. Marriage should be a source of enjoyment, not endurance. I was deeply moved to tears after watching Sir Pete’s interview. It came across as insensitive. Rather than criticizing the inappropriate behavior of his son in his over 16-year marriage, where he impregnated a colleague on a movie location, and continues to engage in dance and singing videos on social media even during periods of mourning, Pete Edochie is directing his attention towards Tonto Dikeh, Ireti Doyle, and Chioma, who have found fulfillment and spiritual prosperity. Is this truly a priority?”
