In light of the recent revelations by Emeka Ike’s son, Michael Ike, about alleged abuse in the actor’s marriage, netizens have resurfaced an old interview in which Emeka Ike shared his perspective on identifying if a man beats his wife.
In a 2016 interview with Television Continental (TVC), Emeka Ike suggested that the best way to know if a man beats his wife is to ask the children.
He asserted that couples often find it challenging to conceal everything from their kids, especially instances of assault.
This resurfaced interview adds another layer to the ongoing discussions and reactions surrounding the family dynamics and abuse allegations involving Emeka Ike and his ex-wife, Suzanne Emma.
“But then women should stop living these kinds of lives. Too much freedom here and there, doesn’t mean you can’t be free but at least think of your home; stop thinking of social media because those things are like a mirage which will fall like a pack of cards.”
