Internet sensations and former security guards, Happie Boys, have reportedly been arrested and remanded in prison in Cyprus. They were detained and charged with an undisclosed offense, leading to their imprisonment in an underground prison facility by the authorities.
Happie Boys initially gained fame when they were dismissed from their security guard positions in Nigeria for dancing while on duty at a fast-food restaurant. Following their viral job loss, they were granted scholarships to pursue their education in Cyprus, courtesy of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).
However, their fortunes took a turn for the worse when a video surfaced online in which the two young men accused the pastor of abandoning them in Cyprus. The pastor clarified that he had advised them to return to Nigeria due to economic challenges caused by fluctuations in exchange rates.
