Olakira, popularly known as Ade Ebenezer, shared a personal story about his expulsion from the church choir due to his involvement with four female choir members.
This incident had a lasting impact on him, even after he transitioned to becoming a secular artist. Olakira revealed that he underwent therapy last year to overcome the emotional challenges he faced. During an appearance on TVC’s program, Wake Up Nigeria, he explained that his absence from the music scene for nearly three years following his hit song ‘Maserati‘ was due to his own personal struggles.
The overwhelming nature of his experiences and his preference for female company, which stemmed from being raised by a single mother, prompted him to seek a change in his surroundings and engage in therapy to regain focus.
