Nollywood actor, Taymesan (real name Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh), recently opened up about the traumatic bullying he endured during his formative years, which severely impacted his self-esteem.
During an episode of The Nancy Isime Show, Taymesan shared his experience of being relentlessly trolled while growing up, despite being considered one of the most talented individuals in his school in Warri. He recalled how he aspired to be popular and accepted by everyone when he entered the University of Lagos (UNILAG), but the trolling shattered his confidence, leading him to focus solely on church activities and academics.
However, Taymesan expressed gratitude for the challenging experiences as they motivated him to work on self-improvement vigorously. The actor revealed that instead of working at the regular 100% effort, he pushed himself to 200% to prove his worth. He credited UNILAG as a turning point in his life, mentioning that the university had a transformative impact on him.
Taymesan’s openness about his struggles and triumphs serves as an inspiration for others who may have faced similar challenges, and he attributes these experiences as instrumental in shaping him into the person he is today.
